Project Update: Dreamscape Apocalypse and Dreamscape Infinite Have Been Canceled

I want to share a final project update regarding two mobile game projects I have been developing over the last several years: Dreamscape Apocalypse and Dreamscape Infinite.

These were two projects that began as early concepts back in 2020, with development officially starting in 2021. At the time, they represented a different chapter in my creative journey, one focused heavily on mobile gaming, smaller-scale releases, and learning how to build interactive projects from the ground up.

Both projects were playable, fully finished, and at one point were close to being released. However, after a lot of internal reflection, testing, and long-term planning, I have made the decision to officially cancel both Dreamscape Apocalypse and Dreamscape Infinite.

Development on these projects originally slowed down and eventually stopped in 2023 due to quality concerns, engine limitations, and overall issues I was running into with Unity at the time. While I was proud of what had been created, I also knew deep down that the final result did not fully represent the level of quality I wanted attached to my name or future creative work.

By late 2024 and early 2025, I had already decided to cancel all mobile gaming-related projects as part of a larger shift away from that space. Later, around late 2025 and early 2026, I internally made the final decision that Dreamscape Apocalypse and Dreamscape Infinite would not be released.

This was not an easy decision, because these projects were part of my early development journey. They taught me a lot about game design, development, creative planning, production challenges, and the importance of knowing when to move forward and when to let something go.

Even though these games will not be released, they still matter. They were part of the foundation. They helped me learn. They helped me grow. They helped shape the creator I am becoming today.

Sometimes, canceling a project is not a failure. Sometimes, it is a sign that the vision has grown beyond what the original project could support. That is how I see these cancellations.

I want every future game, book, story, brand, and creative release connected to my name to feel stronger, more intentional, and more aligned with the future I am building. Releasing something just because it is finished is not always the right move. Sometimes the better decision is to protect the quality of the work, protect the brand, and move forward with a clearer vision.

So, with that said, Dreamscape Apocalypse and Dreamscape Infinite are officially canceled and will not be released.

Thank you to anyone who followed these projects, supported the idea of them, or has been following my creative journey over the years. Even canceled projects have meaning. They are still part of the road. They are still part of the story.

This chapter is now closed, but the future remains wide open.

More projects, stories, and creative updates are still on the way.
