Four episodes into LANTERNS , and I'm continuing to really enjoy this series. Episode 4 is another very good chapter that keeps the story moving while giving us more of the characters, relationships, and larger mystery that have kept me interested throughout the season. Kyle Chandler and Aaron Pierre continue to be fantastic as Hal Jordan and John Stewart. Their performances remain one of the strongest parts of the show for me, and I've really enjoyed watching their dynamic grow throughout these first four episodes. The pacing continues to work well, too. The series is taking its time with certain pieces of the mystery without making things feel stagnant, and there is still plenty here that has me wondering exactly where everything is ultimately heading. We're now officially halfway through Season 1, and I'm happy with where things stand. Episode 1 gave us a strong beginning, Episodes 2 and 3 continued building on that foundation, and Episode 4 keeps the momentum going....

PlayStation’s September 2026 State of Play and State of Play Japan double feature is officially in the books, and after spending several hours watching, reacting, and talking about everything that was shown, I can safely say that I had a really good time with this one. Was everything I predicted there? Definitely not. Were there a few announcements I really wish we had gotten? Absolutely. But that’s part of the fun of these showcases. You go into them with a giant list of possibilities, hopes, and wild predictions, and then you get to see what PlayStation actually has waiting behind the curtain. And overall, I thought this was a fun show.

PlayStation surprised me with another pretty interesting announcement today: Live TV on PS5 is officially launching in the United States. The new service brings more than 100 live channels alongside a growing library of on-demand entertainment directly to the PS5, and it's free and ad-supported. There’s no additional paid subscription required. The service includes a pretty massive variety of programming covering movies, television, anime, sports, news, weather, gaming, esports, creator content, documentaries, podcasts, and more. Some of the programming and partners highlighted by PlayStation include Crunchyroll, FOX, NBCUniversal, UFC, Lionsgate, Sony Pictures Television , and others. Shows and franchises available through the service include things such as Community , The Shield , The Walking Dead , Unsolved Mysteries , Naruto , Sailor Moon , Hunter x Hunter , Death Note , and plenty more. Three episodes into LANTERNS , and I'm still really enjoying what this series is doing. Episode 3 continues moving the story forward while giving us more of the characters and mystery that have made these first few weeks enjoyable for me. Kyle Chandler and Aaron Pierre continue to work really well as Hal Jordan and John Stewart, and I'm enjoying watching their dynamic develop as the season progresses. There is still clearly much more going on beneath the surface, and I'm interested in seeing where everything ultimately leads. Most importantly, I'm having a good time watching this series every week. Episode 1 got things started, Episode 2 kept the momentum going, and Episode 3 gives me another reason to come back next Sunday. Three episodes down.

Two episodes in, and I continue to be very happy that Lanterns is finally here. Following a strong series premiere, Episode 2 keeps the story moving while giving us more time with these characters and this new corner of the DC Universe. Without getting into spoilers, there is some genuinely good stuff happening here, and I'm becoming increasingly interested in seeing exactly where everything is headed. One of my biggest positives continues to be the central pairing of Kyle Chandler as Hal Jordan and Aaron Pierre as John Stewart . Their performances were one of the things that immediately stood out to me in Episode 1, and that continues here. They each bring something different to their Lantern, and that contrast is becoming an important part of what makes the series work for me so far. The Green Lanterns are finally back, and what a great way to begin. The first episode of HBO and DC Studios’ LANTERNS gives us a really strong introduction to this new corner of the DC Universe. After watching the premiere, I’m already incredibly excited to see where this story goes next.

House of the Dragon Season 3 has officially come to an end. And wow.  What an episode. The Season 3 finale delivered some incredibly heavy moments, some very intense sequences, and the kind of ending that leaves you immediately thinking about everything that could happen when this story finally continues. After spending the past eight weeks watching, discussing, reviewing, and following this season episode by episode, it feels strange to finally say that House of the Dragon Season 3 is complete. But what a ride it has been. A Heavy and Intense Finale The biggest thing I took away from the finale was simply how intense it felt. There were moments throughout this episode where you could really feel the weight of everything that has happened over the course of the season. The war has continued to grow. Relationships have changed. Characters have been forced into increasingly difficult positions. And the consequences of everything that has happened are becoming harder and harder to esc...

SOULM8TE is a nice watch, but it is also a surprisingly sad one. Set within the world of M3GAN , the new Blumhouse and Atomic Monster spinoff takes the franchise’s familiar ideas surrounding artificial intelligence and explores them through grief, loneliness, companionship, and the dangerous desire to manufacture a replacement for genuine human connection. Directed by Kate Dolan, the film follows a grieving engineer who is tasked with testing a new artificial-intelligence companion after a powerful technology company acquires his business. His efforts to transform the android into a truly sentient soulmate soon create consequences that neither of them can completely control. One of my biggest questions going into SOULM8TE was whether it could successfully stand on its own while still feeling like a meaningful part of the M3GAN universe. For me, it largely succeeds.   House of the Dragon Season 3 Episode 7 was another nice episode, although I do wish certain parts of the story had moved a little faster. There were still several enjoyable moments, and the episode continued preparing the pieces for what should be a major Season 3 finale next week. At this point, I am mainly looking forward to seeing how everything comes together and where the characters are left when the season ends. It is difficult to believe that we are already approaching the conclusion of another season in the Game of Thrones universe. After spending approximately 50 to 60 hours with Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced, I am finally ready to share my thoughts and formally conclude my coverage of the game. I have not quite reached the final credits yet, but I am deep into the closing stretch and have experienced more than enough of the adventure to form a confident opinion. Overall, I genuinely enjoyed my time with Black Flag Resynced. Returning to this pirate adventure has been an exciting and often rewarding experience, filled with exploration, action, naval battles, and plenty of memorable moments. The world gives you an enormous amount to see and do, and when everything comes together, sailing across the open sea and continuing the journey can be incredibly satisfying. However, this is also a very long and demanding game. Its enormous scale can sometimes work against it, particularly during longer sessions when the number of missions, travel, exploration, and additional activities begins to feel exhausting. This ...

House of the Dragon Season 3 Episode 6 was another enjoyable chapter in what continues to be a very strong season. The opening minutes were especially crazy and immediately gave the episode a great deal of intensity. Without getting into spoilers, the story also features a major character loss that will likely leave many viewers talking once they finish the episode. I had a feeling something significant might happen, but I still want to respect the experience of anyone who has not watched Episode 6 yet. This review will therefore remain mostly spoiler-free.

The story of Michael Jackson is one almost everyone knows. His rise from a gifted young performer in the Jackson Five to becoming the King of Pop remains one of the most recognizable journeys in entertainment history. Unfortunately, MICHAEL did not tell that familiar story with the quality or refinement I expected. This is not a film I completely disliked. Some moments capture the spectacle, music, and extraordinary ambition associated with Michael Jackson’s career. The material itself remains fascinating, and there is enough here for longtime fans and general moviegoers to find something worthwhile. However, the overall execution left me wanting more. Certain details appeared to be altered, simplified, or reshaped for the film, and some of those creative decisions prevented the story from feeling as complete or authentic as it should have. The Scary Movie franchise has returned, but unfortunately, this latest installment did absolutely nothing for me. Comedy is always subjective, but I found very little to laugh at in this movie. Most of the humor felt strained, repetitive, and overly reliant on being loud or recognizable rather than genuinely clever. Instead of delivering a sharp new parody for the current era of horror, the film frequently felt like it was simply throwing jokes at the screen and hoping something would eventually land. There may be some enjoyment here for longtime fans who are simply happy to see the franchise return. Familiarity and nostalgia can certainly carry a movie for a while. However, they were not enough to overcome how uninspired and exhausting I found the overall experience. A comedy does not necessarily need an emotional story or complicated filmmaking to succeed. Christopher Nolan’s adaptation of Homer’s legendary epic is an extraordinary theatrical achievement and one of my favorite films of the year. There are movies you enjoy, movies you admire, and movies that continue occupying your thoughts long after the final scene has ended. Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey belongs firmly in that final category. I attended an early-morning screening, and hours after leaving the theater, I was still thinking about what I had experienced. This was not merely another new movie to watch, review, and eventually move past. This was one of those increasingly rare cinematic experiences that felt enormous, meaningful, and genuinely unforgettable.

House of the Dragon Season 3 Episode 5 was another enjoyable episode in what has continued to be a very strong season. I liked this episode. It had several fun moments, continued moving the different stories forward, and gave me another good reason to remain invested in everything happening across Westeros. This will be a mostly spoiler-free review because I do not want to ruin the episode for anyone who has not watched it yet. I also want to keep this week’s review focused on my overall reaction rather than breaking down every individual scene. Simply put, I had a good time with Episode 5.

House of the Dragon Season 3 Episode 4 was another enjoyable chapter in what continues to be a very strong season. I liked this episode quite a bit. It had several good moments throughout, especially for Team Green, and it continued moving the larger conflict forward as we head into the second half of the season. This review will remain mostly spoiler-free, but there were some nice intense dragon moments tonight. Those scenes were easily among the highlights of the episode for me and served as another reminder of how dangerous and unpredictable this war is becoming.

Spoiler-Free Review I just got home from my screening of Evil Dead Burn , and I honestly do not even know where to begin because this movie was fucking awesome. Yes, I am starting the review there. This was one of those theatrical experiences where I walked out excited, energized, frustrated with certain characters, completely overwhelmed by what I had just watched, and immediately ready to talk about it. I attended a 9:00 PM screening on July 9, 2026, and after getting home later that night, I knew I needed to sit down and get my thoughts out while the experience was still fresh in my mind.

  House of the Dragon Season 3 Episode 3 was definitely a slower episode, but I still really liked it. After the first two episodes brought so much energy, buildup, tension, and momentum, Episode 3 takes its foot off the gas a little bit. It is not as wild or action-heavy as some of what we have already seen this season, but that does not make it a bad episode at all. In fact, I still think this was a great third episode. There were some really good moments throughout the episode, and even when the pacing slowed down, I remained invested in where this story is going. House of the Dragon continues to remind me why I love this universe so much.
