House of the Dragon Season 3 Episode 2 Review: The Iron Throne Is Calling

Image
House of the Dragon Season 3 Episode 2 Review House of the Dragon Season 3 Episode 2 was absolutely incredible. After loving the Season 3 premiere, I was already excited to see where the show would go next, and Episode 2 did not disappoint. If Episode 1 brought us back into the world of Westeros, Episode 2 made it clear that this season is going to move with fire, blood, and a lot of momentum. There is so much happening in this episode. There is so much buildup. There is more action, more tension, and more of that dangerous House of the Dragon energy where every decision feels like it could push the realm closer to complete chaos. This review will contain spoilers for House of the Dragon Season 3 Episode 2.

UNDER SHADOWS Cover Reveal: The Single Arrives September 25

Image
The next phase of UNDER SHADOWS begins today. I’m excited to officially reveal the cover art for UNDER SHADOWS, my upcoming dark cinematic music release arriving September 25, 2026. This project has already become something very meaningful to me. What started as a finished song slowly grew into a larger creative world built around music, storytelling, visual art, atmosphere, and emotion. UNDER SHADOWS is not just a single release. It is the beginning of a new experience. The song carries a dark, cinematic, electronic feeling. It is moody, shadowy, atmospheric, and emotional, built around the idea of moving forward through uncertainty and finding light in the places that feel hidden. The visual direction reflects that same feeling. The cover art is built around deep black, violet light, cosmic shadow, and a glowing eclipse-like atmosphere. It represents the heart of the project: darkness, memory, resilience, and the strange beauty of something new rising from the shadows. UNDER SHADOWS ...

Supergirl (2026) Review: A Bumpy Flight That Finds Its Heart in a Badass Final Stretch

Image
Supergirl (2026) will not be for everyone, and honestly, that is okay. That may sound like a strange way to open a review for a major DC Studios film, especially one arriving at a time when so many fans are watching the new DCU with careful eyes, high hopes, nervous hearts, and years of complicated superhero history sitting in the background. But I think it is the right way to talk about this movie. Not every movie is made to land the exact same way for every person. Not every DC story has to be polished into something universal, safe, predictable, or perfectly smooth. Sometimes a movie can be bumpy. Sometimes it can take a while to fully click. Sometimes it can frustrate you a little bit early on, only to come alive later and leave you walking out with a smile anyway. That was my experience with Supergirl. I saw the film earlier today, and after sitting with it for a few hours, sharing my first thoughts, and posting my Letterboxd review, I keep coming back to the same feeling: this is...

I Beat PRAGMATA — One of My Favorite Games of 2026

Image
“Have a safe journey, kiddo.” I have officially beaten the main campaign of CAPCOM’s new IP, PRAGMATA , after roughly 175–200+ hours , and I can honestly say this was one of the most memorable gaming journeys I’ve had in 2026. PRAGMATA is the kind of new franchise that reminds me why new IP still matters. In a year filled with major releases, sequels, remakes, and massive established names, this game stood out because it felt like CAPCOM taking a real creative swing. It had a mystery. It had heart. It had atmosphere. It had that feeling of discovering a world for the first time and slowly realizing there is so much more underneath the surface. By the time the credits started rolling, I was emotional, satisfied, and already thinking about where this story could go next. For me, PRAGMATA is easily one of my favorite games of 2026, and absolutely a serious Game of the Year contender . It is not just because of the gameplay or the presentation, but because of the journey itself. After spen...

DC Studios Just Made Its Animation Future Feel Absolute - New Batman, Krpyto and Joker Shows Announced

Image
DC Studios had a pretty massive animation news day today, and honestly, this is the kind of announcement that makes the future of DC feel exciting in a completely different way. According to new reports, DC Studios and Warner Bros. Animation revealed multiple new animated projects at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival, including an adult animated Absolute Batman series , a new Joker anime series titled Joker: Laugh Riot , and a kid-friendly Krypto animated series . The Annecy showcase itself was positioned as a look at the next era of DC animation, with DC Studios and Warner Bros. Animation presenting new projects, first looks, and creative insight into where the animated side of the brand is heading. The biggest headline for me is easily Absolute Batman . The Absolute Batman comic has been one of DC’s most exciting modern reinventions of Bruce Wayne. This version strips away the mansion, the endless resources, the butler, and the billionaire safety net, leaving behin...

House of the Dragon Season 3 Episode 1 Review: Peak Game of Thrones Is Back

Image
House of the Dragon has returned, and Season 3 Episode 1 is nothing other than peak Game of Thrones at its best. After waiting for the next chapter of this story, I went into the Season 3 premiere hoping it would bring back that old Westeros feeling: the tension, the tragedy, the political weight, the family drama, the dread, the fire, and the sense that every choice matters. By the end of the episode, I felt completely pulled back into this world. For me, House of the Dragon Season 3 Episode 1 is a 10/10. This is the kind of premiere that reminds me why this universe still matters so much. It does not feel like a soft return or a slow warm-up. It feels like the show is stepping into the next phase of the Dance of the Dragons with confidence, weight, and purpose. The pieces are moving, the wounds are still fresh, and the world of Westeros feels dangerous again. A Strong Return to Westeros One of the biggest things I loved about this premiere is how quickly it brought me back into the a...

Toy Story 5 Review – If This Is the End, What a Beautiful Way to Go

Image
Some movie franchises become more than movies after a while. They become pieces of your childhood, pieces of your memory, pieces of the way you understand growing up, letting go, friendship, imagination, and time. For me, Toy Story has always been one of those stories. So, walking into Toy Story 5 , I had a lot of emotions sitting with me before the movie even started. Excitement, nostalgia, curiosity, a little bit of fear, and honestly, that quiet question a lot of fans probably had: did we need another one? After watching it, my answer is this: maybe we did. Because Toy Story 5 is beautiful. It is powerful, uplifting, emotional, and deeply reflective for anyone who has followed this franchise from the beginning. It understands the weight of what came before it. It understands that these characters are not just toys to the audience anymore. They are old friends. They are symbols of childhood. They are reminders of a time when imagination felt endless, and the world felt smaller, saf...

Obsession Review – A Creepy, Uncomfortable, and Seriously Effective Horror Story

Image
I want to start this review by being honest about something: my theater experience for Obsession was rough. Unfortunately, some people in my auditorium were being loud during scenes, talking over the movie, and outright spoiling moments for other people. That kind of thing really hurts a first viewing, especially for a horror movie that depends so much on tension, atmosphere, surprise, and discomfort. It was frustrating, because I had been looking forward to Obsession for a while. But I also try to separate the experience around a movie from the movie itself. And the movie itself? I thought Obsession was very good. This is a creepy, unsettling, emotionally twisted horror film that takes a familiar “be careful what you wish for” idea and pushes it into something deeply uncomfortable. The story follows a hopeless romantic who gets exactly what he thinks he wants, only to realize that desire, control, and obsession can turn into something terrifying. That is where the movie really work...

Project Wildflower Planned for Later 2029 Novel Release, Short Film Also in Development

Image
Project Wildflower is officially planned for a later 2029 novel release. This is one of the major upcoming projects currently set for 2029, and I am excited to begin sharing more about where it stands as development continues. Project Wildflower has been quietly growing behind the scenes, and while there is still a long road ahead, the project is moving forward with a clear future in mind. The novel is currently planned for later 2029, giving the story the time it needs to develop properly. This is a project that I want to handle with patience. Project Wildflower is not just being developed as a novel. A future short film is also in development, giving the story another path to come to life visually. The short film script is currently aiming to be completed by Holiday 2026. After that, the project will continue moving through development and planning, with filming currently being eyed for late 2027 or early 2028. As always, timing can shift as the project continues to grow, but the goa...

Nintendo Direct June 2026 Recap — Zelda, Kingdom Hearts IV, Star Fox, Xenoblade, and a Huge Switch 2 Lineup

Image
Nintendo closed out one of the biggest gaming news weeks of the summer with a major Nintendo Direct on June 9, 2026, and it was absolutely packed with announcements for both Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch. After a week that already included PlayStation’s State of Play, Summer Game Fest, and the Xbox Games Showcase, Nintendo had the final major spotlight, and they used it to show a future built around nostalgia, surprises, RPGs, family fun, long-awaited returns, and a very strong Switch 2 lineup. The biggest reveal of the show was easily The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time , rebuilt for Nintendo Switch 2. One of the most legendary games of all time is returning for a new generation, and that alone gave the Direct a massive closing-shot feeling. For longtime Nintendo fans, this is the kind of announcement that hits differently. Ocarina of Time is not just another Zelda game; it is one of the pillars of 3D gaming history. Another huge moment was the reveal of Kingdom Hearts IV fo...

My Official Website Is Now Live

Image
My official website is now live. After a lot of planning, rebuilding, redesigning, organizing, and preparing behind the scenes, I am excited to finally confirm that the website has officially launched. This is a major step forward for my creative work, my projects, my brands, my books, my videos, and everything I am continuing to build. The website is not meant to be a frozen page that launches once and never changes. This is a living website. It will continue to grow, expand, and evolve throughout the year with frequent updates, new pages, new project sections, future announcements, and more. Some parts of the website are already live now. Other parts will be updated, expanded, or added throughout 2026. This launch marks the beginning of a larger rollout. Over time, the website will become a stronger home for my creative universe, including books, videos, music, games, merchandise, announcements, brand pages, project updates, and more. It will also give visitors a clearer way to ...

Why I Love It Officially Begins This June

Image
A new series is officially beginning. Today, I’m officially announcing Why I Love It , a reflective video series about the stories, games, films, shows, and creative works that stayed with me. This series is not about rankings. It is not about scores. It is not about turning everything into a competition. Why I Love It is about appreciation. It is about looking back at something that mattered and taking the time to explain why it still holds a place in memory. Some stories stay with us because of their characters. Some stay because of their worlds. Some stay because of where we were in life when we experienced them. That is what this series is built around. The first season begins with episodes focused on Marvel Animation , X-Men ’97 , and several Call of Duty titles that have stayed with me over the years. The Official Announcement Trailer premieres on Tuesday, June 9, 2026 at 12:00 PM ET . After the trailer premieres, the first episode will become available early for CJK+ members ...

Xbox Games Showcase 2026 + Gears of War: E-Day Direct Recap — Xbox Brings the Heat With Gears, Fable, Halo, Spyro, and More

Image
The Xbox Games Showcase 2026 arrived on June 7, and this year’s show had one clear mission: remind everyone why Xbox still matters when it shows up with confidence, history, and heavy-hitting games. The showcase opened with Gears of War: E-Day , and that alone set the tone. For the first time, a Gears game led the Xbox Showcase, and it made sense. E-Day is not just another sequel. It is a return to the beginning the day the Locust emerged, the world broke open, and the bond between Marcus Fenix and Dominic Santiago began to take shape. The gameplay demo leaned into what makes Gears special: weight, brutality, horror, brotherhood, and that feeling that every battle is being fought under a sky that is about to collapse. The follow-up Gears of War: E-Day Direct went even deeper, showing how The Coalition is rebuilding the franchise from the ground up in Unreal Engine 5 while still chasing the emotional core of the original games. One of the most exciting details is the campaign struct...

Summer Game Fest 2026 Recap — Huge Reveals, Horror Returns, and Franchise Comebacks

Image
Summer Game Fest 2026 arrived on June 5 and brought that classic Geoff Keighley showcase energy back to the gaming world. Live from the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, the show felt like a major summer celebration for the future of games, big trailers, surprise reveals, long-awaited sequels, horror returns, legacy franchises, and plenty of moments built for reaction. This year’s showcase had a little bit of everything, but horror fans were eating especially well. One of the biggest reveals was Resident Evil: Veronica , a reimagining of Code Veronica that instantly became one of the most talked-about announcements of the show. For fans who have been waiting for Capcom to revisit that corner of the franchise, this felt like a massive win. (IMAGE: UNTIL DAWN 2) The horror lineup did not stop there. Alien: Isolation 2 made a huge impression, bringing back one of the most beloved survival horror names of the last decade. Silent Hill: Townfall continued to build momentum. Until Dawn 2 was ...

PlayStation State of Play June 2026 Recap — Wolverine, God of War, Until Dawn 2, and a Huge Week for PS5

Image
PlayStation came out swinging on June 2, 2026, with a massive State of Play that felt less like a quick update and more like a true summer showcase moment. For over an hour, Sony and its partners delivered new reveals, release dates, gameplay looks, horror surprises, franchise returns, and one of the biggest looks yet at Marvel’s Wolverine . For me, the clear centerpiece was Marvel’s Wolverine . Insomniac showed off a brutal, violent, and action-heavy look at Logan’s upcoming solo adventure, and it finally gave the game the kind of teeth fans have been waiting for. The combat looked aggressive, the tone felt sharp, and seeing characters like Jean Grey and the Reavers only made the game feel bigger. With the game counting down toward its September 15 launch, this felt like the moment where the hype truly became real. Another huge surprise was God of War Laufey , a new chapter focused on Faye. Instead of simply moving forward with Kratos or Atreus, Santa Monica Studio seems to be digging...
