Four episodes into LANTERNS , and I'm continuing to really enjoy this series. Episode 4 is another very good chapter that keeps the story moving while giving us more of the characters, relationships, and larger mystery that have kept me interested throughout the season. Kyle Chandler and Aaron Pierre continue to be fantastic as Hal Jordan and John Stewart. Their performances remain one of the strongest parts of the show for me, and I've really enjoyed watching their dynamic grow throughout these first four episodes. The pacing continues to work well, too. The series is taking its time with certain pieces of the mystery without making things feel stagnant, and there is still plenty here that has me wondering exactly where everything is ultimately heading. We're now officially halfway through Season 1, and I'm happy with where things stand. Episode 1 gave us a strong beginning, Episodes 2 and 3 continued building on that foundation, and Episode 4 keeps the momentum going....

Episode 3 continues moving the story forward while giving us more of the characters and mystery that have made these first few weeks enjoyable for me. Kyle Chandler and Aaron Pierre continue to work really well as Hal Jordan and John Stewart, and I'm enjoying watching their dynamic develop as the season progresses. There is still clearly much more going on beneath the surface, and I'm interested in seeing where everything ultimately leads. Most importantly, I'm having a good time watching this series every week. Episode 1 got things started, Episode 2 kept the momentum going, and Episode 3 gives me another reason to come back next Sunday. Three episodes down.

Two episodes in, and I continue to be very happy that Lanterns is finally here. Following a strong series premiere, Episode 2 keeps the story moving while giving us more time with these characters and this new corner of the DC Universe. Without getting into spoilers, there is some genuinely good stuff happening here, and I'm becoming increasingly interested in seeing exactly where everything is headed. One of my biggest positives continues to be the central pairing of Kyle Chandler as Hal Jordan and Aaron Pierre as John Stewart . Their performances were one of the things that immediately stood out to me in Episode 1, and that continues here. They each bring something different to their Lantern, and that contrast is becoming an important part of what makes the series work for me so far. The Green Lanterns are finally back, and what a great way to begin. The first episode of HBO and DC Studios’ LANTERNS gives us a really strong introduction to this new corner of the DC Universe. After watching the premiere, I’m already incredibly excited to see where this story goes next.

Another watch party is about to begin. After wrapping up my latest major weekly watch-party journey with House of the Dragon Season 3, I'm excited to officially announce what comes next on the channel. Beginning August 16, I'll be going LIVE every week for LANTERNS Season 1 . It's been a while since I've had a major weekly DC watch party on the channel. One of the last big ones was Peacemaker, which was an incredibly fun series to experience live with everyone, so I'm very excited to return to the DC Universe for this next chapter. LANTERNS brings Hal Jordan and John Stewart together for a mystery that looks very different from the traditional superhero story. Between the Green Lantern mythology, the larger DCU connections, and the mystery at the center of the series, there should be plenty for us to discuss, theorize about, and react to throughout the season. And we'll be experiencing all eight episodes together.

House of the Dragon Season 3 has officially come to an end. And wow.  What an episode. The Season 3 finale delivered some incredibly heavy moments, some very intense sequences, and the kind of ending that leaves you immediately thinking about everything that could happen when this story finally continues. After spending the past eight weeks watching, discussing, reviewing, and following this season episode by episode, it feels strange to finally say that House of the Dragon Season 3 is complete. But what a ride it has been. A Heavy and Intense Finale The biggest thing I took away from the finale was simply how intense it felt. There were moments throughout this episode where you could really feel the weight of everything that has happened over the course of the season. The war has continued to grow. Relationships have changed. Characters have been forced into increasingly difficult positions. And the consequences of everything that has happened are becoming harder and harder to esc...

  House of the Dragon Season 3 Episode 7 was another nice episode, although I do wish certain parts of the story had moved a little faster. There were still several enjoyable moments, and the episode continued preparing the pieces for what should be a major Season 3 finale next week. At this point, I am mainly looking forward to seeing how everything comes together and where the characters are left when the season ends. It is difficult to believe that we are already approaching the conclusion of another season in the Game of Thrones universe. I also want to thank everyone who has read these weekly reviews and joined me for the House of the Dragon watch parties throughout Season 3. It has been a great journey following the story together every Sunday, sharing immediate reactions, and discussing where everything may go next. House of the Dragon Season 3 Episode 6 was another enjoyable chapter in what continues to be a very strong season. The opening minutes were especially crazy and immediately gave the episode a great deal of intensity. Without getting into spoilers, the story also features a major character loss that will likely leave many viewers talking once they finish the episode. I had a feeling something significant might happen, but I still want to respect the experience of anyone who has not watched Episode 6 yet. This review will therefore remain mostly spoiler-free.

House of the Dragon Season 3 Episode 5 was another enjoyable episode in what has continued to be a very strong season. I liked this episode. It had several fun moments, continued moving the different stories forward, and gave me another good reason to remain invested in everything happening across Westeros. This will be a mostly spoiler-free review because I do not want to ruin the episode for anyone who has not watched it yet. I also want to keep this week’s review focused on my overall reaction rather than breaking down every individual scene. Simply put, I had a good time with Episode 5.

House of the Dragon Season 3 Episode 4 was another enjoyable chapter in what continues to be a very strong season. I liked this episode quite a bit. It had several good moments throughout, especially for Team Green, and it continued moving the larger conflict forward as we head into the second half of the season. This review will remain mostly spoiler-free, but there were some nice intense dragon moments tonight. Those scenes were easily among the highlights of the episode for me and served as another reminder of how dangerous and unpredictable this war is becoming.

  House of the Dragon Season 3 Episode 3 was definitely a slower episode, but I still really liked it. After the first two episodes brought so much energy, buildup, tension, and momentum, Episode 3 takes its foot off the gas a little bit. It is not as wild or action-heavy as some of what we have already seen this season, but that does not make it a bad episode at all. In fact, I still think this was a great third episode. There were some really good moments throughout the episode, and even when the pacing slowed down, I remained invested in where this story is going. House of the Dragon continues to remind me why I love this universe so much.

  House of the Dragon Season 3 Episode 2 Review House of the Dragon Season 3 Episode 2 was absolutely incredible. After loving the Season 3 premiere, I was already excited to see where the show would go next, and Episode 2 did not disappoint. If Episode 1 brought us back into the world of Westeros, Episode 2 made it clear that this season is going to move with fire, blood, and a lot of momentum. There is so much happening in this episode. There is so much buildup. There is more action, more tension, and more of that dangerous House of the Dragon energy where every decision feels like it could push the realm closer to complete chaos. This review will contain spoilers for House of the Dragon Season 3 Episode 2.

House of the Dragon has returned, and Season 3 Episode 1 is nothing other than peak Game of Thrones at its best. After waiting for the next chapter of this story, I went into the Season 3 premiere hoping it would bring back that old Westeros feeling: the tension, the tragedy, the political weight, the family drama, the dread, the fire, and the sense that every choice matters. By the end of the episode, I felt completely pulled back into this world. For me, House of the Dragon Season 3 Episode 1 is a 10/10. This is the kind of premiere that reminds me why this universe still matters so much. It does not feel like a soft return or a slow warm-up. It feels like the show is stepping into the next phase of the Dance of the Dragons with confidence, weight, and purpose. The pieces are moving, the wounds are still fresh, and the world of Westeros feels dangerous again.   After a very long night, I wanted to keep this review short and honest. I really was not a fan of Euphoria Season 3 Episode 2 . For me, the one bright spot in the episode was seeing Rue and Jules reconnect . Their scene together was beautiful, emotional, and easily the part of the episode that worked best for me. It reminded me of the kind of heart and intimacy this show can still deliver when it slows down and lets its characters breathe. Outside of that, though, this episode just did not do much for me. One of my biggest issues once again is the music. It still feels off, and that missing presence continues to affect the tone of the series in a way that is hard for me to ignore. The emotional rhythm of the show just does not hit the same for me right now, and this episode really made that stand out. So while I appreciated the Rue and Jules moment, the episode overall left me disappointed. Hopefully, Episode 3 is stronger.

 Returning to Westeros is always dangerous. The shadow of Game of Thrones looms large. Expectations are heavy. Spectacle is expected. Shock is anticipated. Season 1 of A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms takes a different path entirely. It chooses restraint. It’s telling a smaller story, and that’s its greatest strength. Episode 3 marked the turning point. That’s where the season found its spine. The writing sharpened. The stakes crystallized. It felt like the moment the story stopped warming up and started moving with intention. Episode 4 introduced consequences in a real way. Honor wasn’t theoretical anymore. It had a price. Episode 5 was, for me, the emotional high point. It reminded me of The 100 in spirit, not in setting, but in moral weight. Decisions mattered. Loyalty costs something.
