James Gunn Confirms Superman: Man of Tomorrow Is Now Filming

Today brought a very exciting update for DC fans and Superman fans everywhere.

James Gunn officially shared a new image from the set and confirmed that filming is now underway on the next Superman movie, with his post simply reading, “From the set of #ManofTomorrow. Shooting now.” Multiple outlets are also identifying the film as Superman: Man of Tomorrow, the follow-up to 2025’s Superman.

DC Studios' and James Gunn's Superman: Man of Tomorrow is currently dated for July 9, 2027.


The next Superman movie is officially filming.


The road to Superman: Man of Tomorrow has begun.

Well, they did it, ladies and gentlemen. Marvel Studios has finally delivered a Fantastic Four film that truly feels like a Fantastic Four film. From the opening moments to the end credits, Fantastic Four: The First Steps shines as one of the most visually stunning and emotionally satisfying entries in the Marvel Cinematic Universe to date. It’s colorful, full of heart, and packed with classic Marvel flair, but this time, it genuinely feels like a comic book has come to life. 🌟 Stellar Performances Let’s talk about this cast. Julia Garner as Silver Surfer was a standout. Her performance was commanding, emotional, and magnetic. PlayStation State of Play Returns September 24: What to Expect

PlayStation has officially confirmed that a brand-new State of Play is happening Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at 2 PM PT / 5 PM ET / 11 PM CEST (September 25 at 6 AM JST) via their PlayStation blog and official PlayStation channels. The State Of Play will run for more than 35 minutes and feature updates from PlayStation Studios, along with third-party and indie titles from developers around the world. One of the highlights already teased is an extended look at Housemarque’s upcoming game Saros , set to release next year. PlayStation Blog revealed that we’ll see nearly five minutes of gameplay captured directly on PS5.
