The Next Watch Party Begins: LANTERNS Season 1 Is Coming to the Channel

Another watch party is about to begin.

After wrapping up my latest major weekly watch-party journey with House of the Dragon Season 3, I'm excited to officially announce what comes next on the channel.

Beginning August 16, I'll be going LIVE every week for LANTERNS Season 1.

It's been a while since I've had a major weekly DC watch party on the channel. One of the last big ones was Peacemaker, which was an incredibly fun series to experience live with everyone, so I'm very excited to return to the DC Universe for this next chapter.

LANTERNS brings Hal Jordan and John Stewart together for a mystery that looks very different from the traditional superhero story. Between the Green Lantern mythology, the larger DCU connections, and the mystery at the center of the series, there should be plenty for us to discuss, theorize about, and react to throughout the season.

And we'll be experiencing all eight episodes together.

Each livestream will include a little pre-show discussion before we synchronize the episode, followed by the watch party itself and immediate discussion once the episode ends.

As usual, these streams are commentary-based watch-alongs. The episodes themselves will not be rebroadcast, so you'll need your own access to LANTERNS to watch alongside me.

I'm especially looking forward to seeing what Aaron Pierre brings to John Stewart, what Kyle Chandler brings to Hal Jordan, and how this series expands the larger DC Universe.

More importantly, though, I'm looking forward to doing another weekly journey with all of you.

Eight episodes. Eight Sundays. One mystery.

The rings are charged.

The watch parties are ready.

And on August 16, we take the oath.

Well, they did it, ladies and gentlemen. Marvel Studios has finally delivered a Fantastic Four film that truly feels like a Fantastic Four film. From the opening moments to the end credits, Fantastic Four: The First Steps shines as one of the most visually stunning and emotionally satisfying entries in the Marvel Cinematic Universe to date.
